Governor Committees

Governor business takes place through 4 main committees:

Full Governing Body (FGB)

This is the main body of Governors with overall responsibility for the school, responsible for the monitoring of teaching and learning within the school. The FGB meets six times per year and delegates a number of its responsibilities to sub-committees, while retaining overall control and decision making.

Resources Committee

The Resources Committee has delegated authority to consider all aspects of the school related to staffing, buildings and finance.

Ethos Committee

The Ethos Committee is responsible for the Vision and Values of the school and for ensuring its Christian character. It has delegated authority to make decisions on aspects of the school relevant to this.

Standards Committee

The Standards Committee has responsibility to support, advise and challenge the Headteacher and governing body on matters relating to the school curriculum and pupil progress and their statutory obligations regarding the National Curriculum.
