RISE At Kempsford Primary School we enable all children to be happy whilst reaching their full potential and developing a sense of self-worth within our Christian ethos. We are delighted that 100% of the parents surveyed via Ofsted’s Parent View would recommend Kempsford Primary school to another parent (6th March 2017).

The number on roll (September 2025) is 69 plus pre-school and the children are grouped in four classes according to year group. Provision for pre-school children is also made within our Foundation Stage unit “The Hive” for children age 3 to 4 years.

During term time, the school provides child care outside of normal school hours through various clubs; from 7.45am - 8.45am Monday to Friday our Breakfast Club, and from 3.15 to 5.15, Monday to Thursday in our After School Club. There are also a variety of other clubs that run at lunchtimes and from 15:15-16:15 daily.

The school is extremely well supported by Governors, the Friends of Kempsford, parents, the Church and the wider community.

Kempsford Primary School is part of a cluster of local Primary Schools, and we have strong ties with Farmor’s School, our local 11-18 Comprehensive in Fairford.
